  8. Tar Heel Pie (from the kitchen of Mary Baker)

  10.         1 cup chocolate chips
  11.         1 stick butter, melted
  12.         1 cup chopped pecans
  13.         1 tsp. vanilla
  14.         1/2 cup plain flour
  15.         1/2 cup white sugar
  16.         1/2 cup brown sugar
  17.         2 eggs, beaten
  18.         1 unbaked pie shell
  19.  
  20. Pour warm butter over chocolate chips and stir. Blend all
  21. remaining ingredients (other than pie shell) and stir into
  22. chocolate chip mixture. Pour into pie shell and bake in
  23. 350 F oven for 30-40 minutes.
